Allie and Marcus’ wedding at 33 Main made me feel so lucky that I get to play the role that I do. This day was so near and dear to my heart. I could not be happier watching two great friends fall in love in the Berkshires, settle down here and then get married. When I watch Allie look at Marcus like he is the only person in the entire room, I see a beautiful human who has met her perfect match.
This March day was a chilly & rainy one, but it could not have felt any warmer with the love that was exploding inside this boutique inn in Downtown Lenox. The day started with some of Allie’s closest friends gathering together for champagne and oysters (I played the role of friend during this part of the day), then after she said goodbye to friends, the intimate gathering of family and each of their best friends got underway.
Allie and Marcus started with getting ready time with their families. Allie had custom made her dress by using her own mother’s wedding gown and wow, she looked absolutely stunning! Soon it was time for Allie and Marcus to see one another and take some portraits all the while keeping each other warm and dry under umbrellas. I just love these photos!
Next, was a small and sweet ceremony with vows that made everyone in the room smile through tears of joy. There were toasts afterwards and even a little impromptu dancing before heading over to dinner at the Gateways Inn.
Allie – I love that I’ve watched you find the perfect love and someone who lights you up. Marcus you’ve been easy to call a friend since the first time meeting you. It’s wonderful to witness all the love and support that surrounds you. Congratulations & all the happiness in the world, Mr. & Mrs. Coleman!
