KAITLYN & BILLY’S BERKSHIRE HILLS COUNTRY CLUB WEDDING

Last weekend’s signified the kickoff to the busy 2014 wedding season and no better to begin with such a wonderful couple. Kaitlyn & Billy were married on April 26 with a ceremony at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lee, MA followed by a reception at the Berkshire Hills Country Club.

When checking the weather prior to the wedding, clouds with rain drops were displayed hour after hour. I had multiple plan B scenarios lined up, after all, a photographer has to be ready for the unexpected! I wouldn’t have imagined that, when those church doors opened after Kaitlyn & Billy walked down the aisle, the sky was a brilliant blue and the sun shown down on them as they walked out of the church. You could even hear the guests gasp in surprise, it truly seemed like a blessing.

Before the ceremony, I spent some time with Kaitlyn as she and her bridal party got ready at Cranwell Resort. Billy and his groomsmen were there as well, but we kept the couple apart until Kaitlyn actually went down the aisle at St. Marys with her dad. You may remember from their engagement session that this was the same church that Kaitlyn’s mom and dad were married in. You could see both couple’s love reflected in everyone present.

After the ceremony, I hopped on the party bus with the bride & groom and their bridal party and headed back to Cranwell for pictures. It was the perfect setting for formals and the group pictures. The Berkshire mountains make for the perfect background, no matter what season it is!

Next we were off to the reception at Berkshire Hills Country Club. The Club was transformed with all the beautiful details provided by Kaitlyn and Billy. Knowing that Kaitlyn owns her own organic natural skin care line, Zen Society, I knew she has an amazing eye for classic, fresh details but I was blow away by how amazing everything looked.

The party started in earnest when the couple arrived. You could feel the strong connection between all of their close friends and family. The wedding party hit the perfect mix between having tons of fun and honoring the bride & groom with their memories and love.
