Social Circle

As photographers, we’re usually behind the lens capturing moments—but it’s the connection we’re making with others that means the most. That’s what inspired Social Circle, born from a simple truth: making new friends as an adult can be hard.

What makes Social Circle special is its simplicity—just people coming together to connect.

I met Lauren (@berkshiremuse) and McCalea (@shirehomeco) separately through work, but when the three of us shared a night out to get to know one another, we realized we were all craving the same thing: real connection beyond the busyness of life. We figured others locally felt the same. So we created Social Circle—a no-pressure space to meet new people, share stories, and form genuine friendships.

Our first event was on February 26, 2025, at the cozy Doctor Sax House in Lenox—over 70 people showed up! It was an evening full of laughter, warmth, and meaningful conversations. A month later, we hosted our second event at the beautiful new Belvedere Lenox, co-owned by Scott Shortt. Once again, we were reminded of the power of community.
