The morning of their wedding rain poured. However, as if on cue, it stopped just as we were setting up for the first look. For Maddy, family traditions are incredibly important. One such tradition is getting married at the charming Church on the Hill, a place that holds significant meaning for her family. Maddy and Nick embraced this tradition.
The day started out drizzly, but then the sun ended up peaking through! It was as if nature itself was celebrating the love story that was about to unfold. Their families and Paige’s best friend were the fortunate witnesses to this beautiful wedding. In an era of grand weddings, their choice to focus on intimacy was a refreshing and just perfect.
David and David got married at Wheatleigh in an intimate ceremony officiated by Jayne Atkinson-Gill. They exchanged very personal vows that brought emotion in each of us. The whole day was perfect and exactly what they had envisioned. After photos, they enjoyed their first meal as newly wed with an exquisite dinner menu created just for them.
Ally and Tyler were married at Bloom Meadows in the beginning of December and while there wasn’t much snow on the ground yet, the magical feeling of wintertime was there. In the silo suite there was a small stove lit and this made the space where the girls got ready feel so warm and inviting. The smoke from the fires of Crisp Catering crackled all afternoon as they prepared dinner. Bloom Meadows was also decorated for the season with wreaths on their doors and seasonal foliage in their window boxes.
While navigating a long distance relationship and extremely long work weeks, Nathan proposed to Jackie on the Cliff Walk in Newport, Rhode Island. In just six months they planned their beautiful Berkshire wedding that I was so lucky to be a part of. During the first look, Nathan couldn’t be more excited to see Jackie and it made their portraits so genuine and special.
