We were on top of a mountain with a view that would take your breath away. All of us in attendance felt lucky to witness Anna and Eric exchange rings and become forever partners on an extraordinary late summer evening. The expansive property and beautiful home belongs to Anna’s grandparents and because of her close bond with them, our bride and groom could think of no better place to bring together all the people they loved the most.
The morning of their wedding rain poured. However, as if on cue, it stopped just as we were setting up for the first look. For Maddy, family traditions are incredibly important. One such tradition is getting married at the charming Church on the Hill, a place that holds significant meaning for her family. Maddy and Nick embraced this tradition.
Joud and Anson honored family tradition by riding to the church in a horse-drawn carriage, a nod to the generations before them who had done the same.
Casey and Kristen’s wedding at The Williams Inn in Williamstown was a beautiful celebration that we were proud to be a part of. Casey and Kristen, who met at UConn, found their paths crossing again years later at work. This time being in the same place at the same time became a love match.
Jennie and Jeremy had a wedding that was glowing with happiness. The speeches however, were a highlight of the evening. The bride’s brothers stole the show with their mock diary, chronicling her life from birth to I do. Their humorous and affectionate retelling of childhood memories was so cute. They provided moments of both laughter and sentiment.
For Kelsey and Jack, Tanglewood holds a unique place in their hearts. Since 2014, they haven’t missed a single visit to this haven of classical music, even in 2020 when there were no concerts. They got engaged on the sundial and Kelsey even worked there as a tour guide. Tanglewood is more than just a venue for them and they couldn’t imagine getting married anywhere else.
What makes a wedding truly special is the gathering of people who have been a part of the couple’s journey. Maria and Matt’s wedding was no exception and the room full of people from all different parts of their lives was alive with energy. Their wedding at Tanglewood was heartwarming and full of love.
The day started out drizzly, but then the sun ended up peaking through! It was as if nature itself was celebrating the love story that was about to unfold. Their families and Paige’s best friend were the fortunate witnesses to this beautiful wedding. In an era of grand weddings, their choice to focus on intimacy was a refreshing and just perfect.
Hues of reds, oranges, and golds painted the backdrop for Allison and Brandon’s wedding at Tanglewood. A fall chill was in the air, but warm apple cider was served to guests – a comforting and inviting touch to the day. The lawn in front of Highwood filled up with all of Brandon and Allison’s favorite people right as the sun began to set.
At the end of the evening, I stole Mary, Ty, Megan and Brandon away for a little adventure. I loaded the foursome into my car and drove them down the road to High Lawn Farm for some couple portraits in the golden hues of a Berkshire sunset.
Allie spent many summers on the Cape with her family and Skaket Beach holds a special place in their hearts. That’s why The Wequassett Resort & Golf Club provided the perfect setting for their special day, with its breathtaking views of Pleasant Bay. Ten years after that first date, their favorite people would make the trip to Cape Cod to witness Allie and Connor finally making their commitment official.
Do you have a crush on me, Matt Mitchell?”
Sometimes, all it takes is one courageous question to change the course of your life. For Sarah, it was a straightforward query to Matt Mitchell that set the wheels in motion for their love story. And YES, yes he did have a crush on Sarah. Love often leads us on unexpected journeys, for Matt, it meant moving across the state putting down roots in Sarah’s hometown here in the Berkshires.
Underneath a shimmering disco ball, friends and family gathered to celebrate the couple’s journey into marriage. Hailing from Washington, D.C., the couple shared a special connection with the band With Ford Bronco, a 90s cover band. Having the band perform at their wedding was a dream come true.
For Grace and Lachlan, their love story was woven right into the fabric of their childhood neighborhood. Living just houses apart, they navigated their adolescent years on Cliffwood Street before a chance meeting initiated by Grace’s father happened over “burger night” at nearby Firefly Pub.
When Vin and Colleen originally secured a date with us in 2019 no one could have imagined that the world would be turned upside down during a pandemic, careers would change, or that beautiful baby Remi would get to be present at her parent’s wedding.
Brian grew up visiting the Berkshires as a child and his fond memories of this area were quickly shared with Michelle. Soon it became one of their favorite places to visit. When they began the wedding planning process it became obvious that a wedding in the Berkshires was in their cards. They could share their vows with each other and share one of their favorite corners of the world with their friends and family.
Erica and Nic planned their wedding in just 5 months and it was wonderful to see that they had designed a day that was exactly what they wanted it to be. The celebration was held in two locations, including an intimate dinner with music, a happy hour before the ceremony and so many adorable couple portraits (even some in the rain).
Mike and Melanie both grew up in the Berkshires. They went to high school together, but never met. It wasn’t until they enrolled both of their puppies in training classes that an introduction was made and sparks of interest developed.
We find such joy in the details and this day didn’t disappoint. Emilie’s hair clip was made from her mom’s veil and her grandmother’s dress. During their ceremony they each presented their moms with flowers before reading aloud written vows to each other. Their wedding party consisted of their siblings and the cutest flower girl (their niece). The sliding doors of the Linde Center were fully open giving everyone an incredible view of the mountains and sunset during toasts. A packed photo booth and an incredible fiber optic dance party was a great end to an unforgettable day.
Their ceremony of 65 people was perfectly nestled in the Italian Garden – (one of our favorite spots to photograph couples). Luscious greenery covering the stone walls could not be a more perfect ceremony location for Claire – a total plant lover. Claire’s bouquet was an incredible compilation of florals, greenery and amazing textures that she dreamed up. Craig added his own touch to their walk back down the aisle. The theme song Indian Jones echoed through the garden as they were introduced for the first time as Mr. and Mrs. (this made so many guests smile).
The scent of lilacs filled the church as David waited to see his bride. He stood next to the priest, who also happened to be his brother and his face said it all when Mary made her appearance at the back of the church. Mary’s floral dress and vibrant bouquet were absolutely stunning as her godson walked her down the aisle.
