Mass MoCA provided a safe haven on a stormy day for romance, love, and pie. Ben and Holly met while they were students at nearby Williams College. At one point during their early courtship, Ben baked Holly a pie, the first indicator that this might be more than just a college romance. Williams is only a short drive from Mass MoCA and the two would often wander around the epic space on dates, taking in the amazing art and falling even more in love with each other. Hearing these sweet little stories gave me insight into their wedding day. Mass MoCA was a perfect venue. If you’ve never had the chance to explore it, you need to get yourself up to North Adams and take it all in. The space is alive with color, light, and energy. Even with a noreaster raging outside we were able to create incredible images in the hallways and galleries of Mass MoCA. It was my first wedding here and I hope not the last. Getting married in this space, that was so special to them in their early relationship lent a sweet nostalgia and easiness to the day. For dessert, pie made an appearance! Another nod to their dating. Everything about Ben and Holly’s wedding was perfection. The setting, her dress, the incredible food created by Mezze Catering, and most of all the love between them. Thank you, Ben and Holly, for letting me capture your beautiful day. Wishing you a lifetime of joy and love.
