Lauren and Mike’s elegant wedding at The Mount was like being at one big family gathering. Imagine a tent full of families, who have been waiting to spend time with each other, finally having the opportunity to celebrate! The energy was high and everyone was elated. Thanks to Lauren and Mike’s band, The Band Method, not a single person stayed in their seat during the reception and the dinner tables became a stage for them to entertain on. It was incredible.
Lauren and Mike met at a work Christmas party. Even though Mike was leaving the company, he still decided to attend and I’m sure he’s glad he did, because it was this night that they began talking and never looked back. In this first conversation he asked Lauren her favorite North End restaurant (Dolce Vita) and they have been on date after date after date there ever since. We even took some of their engagement photos in front of this very special spot.
It is evident Lauren and Mike both have families that mean so much to them. Lauren and Mike enjoy spending time on the Cape, a yearly trip for Mike’s family which includes his parents, siblings, 6 nieces/nephews (all in the wedding), and dogs, 6 to be exact. Lauren, who grew up in the Berkshires, knew Lenox would be a special place to get married. This area represents a relaxing escape filled with family and memories of family BBQs, graduations, birthdays, and visiting her grandma.
Lauren and Mike could not have asked for a more beautiful June day. It was sunny with perfect temperatures. Their first look in the Italian Garden was so romantic. It was hard to take the smile off my face when Mike turned around to see his bride. After postponing their big day for nearly two years, it was time to get married! The excitement of it finally being here was felt by all of us.
I loved being part of your day!
