I turned to my second shooter, Lisa during Tess & Pierre’s wedding and I said, “This is everything I’d want in a wedding.” Knowing me as well as she does, Lisa said, “It’s so true.” Then she paused “But you say that at most weddings”. I had to laugh because as different as each wedding, each weekend is, I fall in love over and over for the unique wedding days my couples plan.

What was it about Tess & Pierre’s wedding? I was feeling all the goodness that comes with a warm, sunny June day and the intimate feeling of 80 guests mingling on the porch while sipping chilled cocktails. The Lenox Club has the warmth of a home and I loved that Tess and Pierre seemed at total ease as the jazz band played while everyone enjoyed dinner and friends and family stood up to share a toast.

When I stole Tess & Pierre away for a few extra pictures as the sun went down, they had a moment for just the two of them to take it all in. Tess said. “This day is exactly what we wanted…it’s so us!”
