Lauren and Ryan were so much fun to photograph. Their wedding at The Williams Inn was summery chic with earthy tones that reflected the beautiful surroundings of the Berkshires where Lauren grew up. When I first met Lauren and Ryan, we met at their apartment in Manhattan and walked around Central Park for their engagement session. Right away I knew they were going to be a blast to take pictures of.  Lauren and Ryan shared with me the story of how they met in the stuffiest bar in Manhattan on an unusually warm and rainy November night. When Lauren persuaded Ryan to leave and find another bar, they found themselves in Momofuku Ssam Bar in East Village chatting and getting to know each other for the next 6 hours.

During speeches, it was mentioned multiple times that after that date, Lauren knew she had met the man she was going to marry.

Fast forward to this past Saturday’s wedding day. Let’s talk about those dance floor photos. Oh YES! Can’t remember a more enthusiastic bride on the dance floor. Lauren changed into a white, sparkly knee-length dress and she was ready to go. Lauren and Ryan celebrated all night with those they love most. In fact, the dancing did not stop all night, even as the venue was closing, the dance floor was still full.

I’d love to pass on a little advice that Lauren and Ryan gave me for future couples having a wedding- “Take time to soak it all in. The night goes by so fast and it’s important to watch how much fun your guests are having.”

Thank you again for having me be part of your day. I hope you relive this perfect day year after year through these photos.

xo Tricia
