Sascha told me that their wedding felt “just SO US.” I have to smile hearing that because everyone there felt the same way. Each part of the day was so authentic, and it seemed like we were all living in the moment right alongside Sascha and Aaron.
This day also brought something I will always remember with gratitude – this couple’s trust! We began with an emergency first look, moving it much earlier to beat the storm that was rolling in. At 11am, about three and a half hours ahead of schedule, Sascha and Aaron saw each other for the first time, and the joy on their faces said it all!! The decision turned out to be perfect, not only did it give them the chance to spend the whole day together, it also meant we captured so much before the skies opened. When the storm cleared, the weather turned beautiful, and everyone felt a wave of appreciation for how the day had unfolded.
Their ceremony was one of the most heartfelt parts of the day. With their siblings officiating, it became deeply personal and full of meaning. When Sascha’s brother and Aaron’s sister grew emotional as they spoke about the couple, I found myself tearing up too. It was a beautiful reminder of how much love surrounded them. The story of how they met was shared in their vows and it is one I will never forget. On a Birthright trip, Aaron jokingly “proposed” in front of the Western Wall in Jerusalem. What started as a playful moment grew into the relationship that brought us all together to celebrate their marriage. It felt so fitting that their wedding carried that same mix of humor and heart, of laughter and genuine connection.
I was also grateful to work alongside planner Jillian Shuster. A former TMP bride in 2015, Jillian brought her signature calm presence and thoughtful attention to detail to every part of the day. She guided the celebration seamlessly, creating the space for Sascha and Aaron to be fully present and for us to get amazing images of the day.
Next came the party!! Sascha and Aaron wanted a celebration that felt alive, and that is exactly what it was. The dance floor was packed from start to finish with Cafe Wha Entertainment and at one point they climbed to the stage with the band, surrounded by cheers and music. The energy was electric, and the celebration unforgettable. Guests were not just witnesses, they were part of it and we were swept up in the joy that radiated from these two.
Looking back, their wedding was everything they had hoped for and more. Photographing their day was an honor, and I will always remember their trust, their laughter, and the incredible spirit they brought to every single moment. Congratulations you two!
