A nor’easter couldn’t stop these two.

Kendra and Jakob were married on September 26 at Tanglewood in Lenox, and the forecast did not cooperate. Wind and rain came in all day, and they embraced every bit of it. Their invitations, in both English and Swedish, set the tone in terracotta, and that color carried through everything from the florals to the napkins.

Outdoor portraits happened under clear umbrellas with Kendra’s gown blowing in the wind, and they were up for all of it. Inside, the reception space glowed with string lights, and Berkshire Floral’s dahlias, roses and pampas grass brought fall right to the tables.

Then the dance floor took over. It was packed all night, Kendra and Jakob ended up on the chairs, and the mood was pure happiness and so much love for these two wonderful people.

I’m so proud of Lisa and Kalei for capturing the spirit of this day so beautifully. A nor’easter is no small thing, and they didn’t miss a moment.
