What a incredible thing to be asked by all 3 of the Findlen girls to photograph their wedding. First Erin’s in the Berkshires, Courtney’s in Newport and now Rosie’s in Saratoga Springs. It’s always my favorite when having worked with me in the past, a couple knows we will be a great fit and that I’ll do every thing I can to take good care of them and their friends and families on their wedding day.
I adore Rosie’s family, there is so much humor and so much love and then to meet Mike’s family and find that they are that exact way too. I love hearing during their vows that one of the things they loved the most about each other was that they shared the same values. They credited their parents and the big families from which they were raised.
When editing these images, I thought to myself and even said out loud, “who wouldn’t want a winter wedding after seeing these images!” It had snowed earlier in the week, and on this day it was clear and bright and the sun set in a golden haze as I photographed Rosie and Mike and their wedding party outside. We all laughed so hard during that photo session that I don’t think any of us even realized we were out in the cold.
Thank you Rosie and Mike for giving me the chance to capture the magic you two have together and with all the people that love you. I’m so grateful.
