What sweethearts!! We enjoyed being with Brenna and Joe so much on their wedding day. Every friend and every family member of theirs were a joy to be with.
It was a beautiful summer day on August 27th. Although it felt hot to all of us local to Massachusetts, it wasn’t at all to our bride and groom who currently live in Texas. It was perfect, just like they are for one another.
We began the day capturing Brenna and her girls getting ready at Seven Hills Inn and Joe and his guys there too. We then headed to St. Joseph’s where Brenna and Joe had a beautiful ceremony by Monsignor Michael Shershanovich. This church was only steps away from where these two met. It was fate that Joe was visiting the Berkshires as a lacrosse coach and Brenna was living here after college graduation. They were introduced at Mission Bar and everything from that moment led up to that moment at St. Joseph’s.
Back at their reception at Seven Hills, I love how they incorporated details about themselves. There was a sign that read “Please take home a little piece of Texas” and every guest received a potted Succulent. They also had adorable Texas and Massachusetts shaped and painted cookies for everyone. I especially loved their corn hole boards that were dedicated to their Texan and Irish roots.
Something I had never seen before was the awesome Polish tradition of taking a shot before entering the reception – that was a great way to get the party going. Everyone got into the spirit!
And spirit is definitely something this wedding had, there was SO MUCH LOVE in that room. The speeches were an amazing outpouring of affection for these two who are so obviously made for one another.
Lisa and I felt honored to be there and want to thank you all for allowing us to be a special part of the day.
Congratulations to you!!
