The Night I Was a Photographer and an Uber Driver…

Greg contacted me and told me his plans to propose to Lauren at Blantyre Resort and asked if I could capture it. Absolutely!

Being a proposal photographer becomes more than just showing up that day – for this photographer anyway. I helped Greg with dinner and flower recommendations and the plan of how the surprise would work. Even when Greg when Greg asked me for transportations recommendations to and from dinner and I didn’t have any – I told them I’d drive them. Yes, I played the role of their Uber driver that night.

With the plan set, I walked into the Champagne Salon and introduced myself as the Blantyre Staff Photographer (this title doesn’t exist) and asked “can I take your picture?” Now in position, Greg reached for the ring. She was totally surprised. She said yes!!
