Allie and Connor‘s love story began in the 4th grade. It was in elementary school, right here in Lenox, where they would begin the friendship of a lifetime. It wasn’t until the summer after high school graduation that they would go on their first official date. With Connor heading to college in Colorado, and Allie choosing to attend Boston College – distance would be a challenge, but as Allie mentioned – when you find the right person you find a way to make it work.

Allie spent many summers on the Cape with her family and Skaket Beach holds a special place in their hearts. That’s why The Wequassett Resort & Golf Club provided the perfect setting for their special day, with its breathtaking views of Pleasant Bay. Ten years after that first date, their favorite people would make the trip to Cape Cod to witness Allie and Connor finally making their commitment official.

The scenic beauty of the Grand Lawn was breathtaking and I couldn’t think of a more perfect spot for Allie and Connor to share vows. Their puppy Basil was an important part of their big day. She proudly served as the flower girl, bringing smiles to everyone in attendance. Adding an extra touch of charm to their ceremony, Allie and Connor had two ring bearers, who took their roles as “ring security” very seriously. As Allie walked down the aisle with her father, guests were serenaded by a song that seamlessly transitioned from English to Italian. It was a beautiful nod to Allie’s heritage and a touching moment for both families. In fact, Allie’s vows to Connor were spoken entirely in Italian.

Their journey is a reminder that true love can withstand any distance. Allie and Connor – you are truly the most adorable to photograph and I’m so honored you invited us all the way to Cape Cod for your special day.
