Recently I met a man at a wedding, who had just celebrated his 50th wedding anniversary. He told me that the secret to the longevity of his marriage was making each other laugh. After Kayla and Jordan’s session I told them they personified this advice.

Kayla and Jordan met at Williams College in Fall 2006 and met at a party on campus soon after. Becoming engaged was a long time in the making and so this is such a special time for them. The actual date of this engagement session was held exactly one year from their wedding date, which they have labeled their “pre-anniversary.” Between the shots I said, “hey guys, what are we going to be doing in 1 year from this moment?” They both said “having a drink during cocktail hour!”
