Every spring, graduation season reminds me how meaningful this milestone truly is. This year, we were honored to cover commencement for both Simon’s Rock and MCLA, with the colleges trusting us to document such an important moment for their graduates and families.

We also spent time on campus with groups of friends who booked sessions together to celebrate this chapter. These friends and family style shoots included group portraits that reflected their shared experience, along with individual portraits of each graduate. Documenting these moments together is such a powerful way to remember not just where you ended up, but who you walked alongside to get there.

As both a photographer and a mom, this season feels especially personal. I am about to watch my youngest graduate high school, and having already been through this with my oldest, I know how valuable it is to have someone capturing the moments you cannot fully take in yourself. Lisa, a trusted member of the TMP team, photographed Andy’s graduation and will once again be there for Connor’s, allowing me to be fully present as a mom.
