Alissa and Michael’s spring wedding in the Berkshires was a gorgeous day with family and friends at Bloom Meadows

Our talented Associate Photographer, Lisa Goudey led the day and had this to say “Leading up to this day, there were a lot of questions as to how many Covid-19 restrictions would be involved in dictating the wedding, but Alissa and Mike had faith that they would have the wedding of their dreams. They had planned accordingly to comply, but on the day of their wedding, May 29th, all Covid-19 restrictions were lifted and the mask mandate was no longer a requirement for those who were vaccinated.

It was the first unrestricted wedding since March 2020 and you could feel the energy and excitement. Alissa and Mike spent the day with their closest friends and family celebrating their wedding to the fullest. They were married by Alissa’s brother, Barrett, and you could tell just how much she meant to him and how much it meant to Alissa and Mike to have him officiate. It was clear that family played an integral part in their wedding and their relationship.

Bloom Meadows has so much to offer on it’s property and while photographing the portrait portion of the day, Mike asked if we could go down to the bridge that they had been to during their site visit. I’m so glad he did because we were able to create some of my favorite photos! I’m also glad we had done an engagement session because they knew exactly what to expect and I was able to get them back to their party. They finished off the night with so much dancing and laughter, it made me so happy to see that weddings are not only back, but the amount of love, energy and fun is at an all time high.
