I think if Gabi and Seth could hear me putting together their blog post they would get a kick out of it. I was full of oohhs and aahhs and “these two!!!!”. We absolutely loved their day and so many things stick out in my mind about it. We love shooting at the Mount and I have to pinch myself sometimes that I live 2 miles from a location as beautiful as this. This day provided a break in the summer heat we had been experiencing and it was a crisp, clear day in September.
All of Gabi and Seth’s friends and family were bubbling with excitement during the getting ready, they knew a day of special moments was in store for all. Once dressed, Gabi made her way towards seeing Seth along the tree-lined path in the garden. Their first look was one of my favorite moments of the whole day. It was adorable to hear Gabi call to Seth and both of them laughed before he turned around to see her. They become lost in seeing one another as we snapped photos – it was so sweet!
After pictures of Gabi & Seth, their bridal party and their families, it was time for the Ketubah signing. This was an intimate gathering of their parents and their witnesses in one of Edith Wharton’s rooms – I felt honored to in the presence of it all.
It was time to go to the ceremony which was my next favorite moment of the entire day. The early evening light, this couple, the garden setting and the emotion made it breathtaking. My words can’t do it justice so I will let the photographs speak for themselves.
After the ceremony, this loving couple enjoyed the company of their guests and danced the night away to the New York Players under their romantically decorated tent. From beginning to end, this wedding was one never to forget.
