Cheyanne and Ryan’s wedding at Berkshire Hills Country Club was the first of our 2023 season. Their February wedding day started off windy and cold. They each got ready separtely in their family homes. Cheyanne wore heirloom rings in her dress and Ryan and his grooms people were accompanied but the cutest dog (in tuxes). I was so impressed with how willing Ryan and Cheyanne were to come outside in the cold with us for portraits (Lisa and I had on winter jackets). While the day was cold and windy, it ended with a sunset – I couldn’t have been happier that they got photos in that special golden light!

Cheyanne and Ryan are both educators in the Berkshires. I was introduced to Ryan through my husband Tom, who is Ryan’s coworker. Weddings like this make me feel so lucky to live in a small community where I can photograph local couples. Ryan and Cheyenne have summers off together – how special! They frequently visit the beach, and spend time with their dog, but their favorite place to be together is is Disney World.
