Maddy and Tanner’s engagement session was everything I love about fall in the Berkshires—classic New England charm, colorful leaves, cozy sweaters, and the sweetest couple (plus their very photogenic dog, Paddy).
We started off at Winbrooke, which gave us a beautiful mix of spots to wander and shoot. These two were up for anything and so easy to photograph—sweet, relaxed, and totally themselves. After that, we made our way over to Maddy’s mom’s house just down the road, where things got even cozier. There was a fire pit going, a porch swing, a log cabin backdrop, and the best fall vibe you could ask for.
Maddy and Tanner have been together for seven years, and this session was one of the first times they’ve done professional photos together. They were a little nervous about it, but honestly? They crushed it and by the end, it just felt like hanging out with friends.
They’re getting married this September at Stonover Farm and we’re already counting down. If this session is any hint at what their wedding day will be like, it’s going to be full of love, laughs, and lots of dancing—and we can’t wait.
