Oh this day!! This was the kind of day that makes you inhale deep and feel so grateful! On September 3rd, the day that Lauren and Jon were married, there wasn’t a cloud in the sky and at Cranwell Resort & Spa all you could see was blue sky and mountains for miles and miles.

Lauren and Jon had planned a most romantic and elegant wedding and this weather was just the icing on the cake for an already perfect day. I loved all their details of class and sophistication including the blush bridesmaids dresses and the antique rose bouquets created by Carolyn Valenti. As we made our way through cocktail hour, I heard friends of Lauren’s exclaim, “this is the most gorgeous wedding I have ever been to” and that was even before the fun of the reception had begun.

As I prepared this blog I loved reliving this day for Lauren and Jon. I especially love the images of Lauren & Jon together during our beautiful portrait session. I appreciated them taking the extra time to capture this day and we laughed and danced with this stunning couple in such pretty evening light. I also had such fun remembering moments when Lauren and Jon were having an absolute blast together and I love how it comes through in the pictures.  Just look at Lauren’s smile as they make their entrance as husband and wife to their roaring crowd – so cute!  I loved their first dance as well and then when they really got going on the dance floor to the music from their awesome band, Young Love and the Thrills. I really have to mention that there were some seriously amazing dancers at this wedding!
