Emily and Andrej were dodging thunderstorms all day at their tented Chesterwood wedding, but not one bit of rain could put a damper on this celebration. In one evening they experienced a week’s worth of weather; rain, clouds, sunshine, fog, and even a rainbow. From start to finish I have enjoyed working with Emily and Andrej. They are fun, easy going, and best of all so in love. All day I just kept saying, “wow” to myself after I’d snap another amazing image of these two prancing around in the rain or holding each other under a rainbow.

Fun Facts about Emily and Andrej

• Andrej proposed by dressing their dog (puppy at the time) up in a tuxedo costume for one of their weekly pizza date nights.
• Both Emily and Andrej were born in Europe.
• Their first date in New Orleans at an art gallery was photographed by a local newspaper and they have the picture framed and hanging in their home.

I asked Emily and Andrej what their favorite moment from the day was and they responded, “Before our reception entrance we hid away in the residence of Chesterwood next to our tent and we were able to look into the tent and just take a moment to appreciate how perfect the evening was and how special it was to see our families and friends laughing together.

Also, not to miss… Ellie, their adorable Golden Retriever and some amazing candids from their Gould Meadows engagement session last summer.

I am so happy as I sit and look back on this beautiful day. Thank you for trusting me to capture your love, rain and shine.
