Caitlin and Kevin were married a few weeks ago in the Berkshires. This was a destination wedding for them as they traveled from their home in Oregon to celebrate with family and friends from all around the country. Even though their wedding was in November and temperatures can be quite cold that time of the year, the foliage peaked late this year and the temperature was warm enough to make pictures outside absolutely perfect.
I asked Caitlin if she wouldn’t mind sharing with my blog readers some of her advice and words of wisdom about planning such a wonderful day.
Q: Was there a memory from your wedding that sticks out more than others?
There is not one memory that sticks out the most from our wedding day! The entire day seemed like a fairytale and I could not believe everything came together so perfectly! The entire day did not feel real. After the band played the last song I did not want the evening to end.
Q: What is one piece of advice that you would give to other couples planning their wedding?
One piece of advice I would give other coupes is to not stress about the fine details. On your wedding day everything will be perfect no matter what and even if something does happen you will not even notice it. The day will fly by so try and slow down and take it all in. People say your wedding day is over in a blink of an eye and it is true! Thankfully we have your pictures to look at to recapture the wonderful moments.
Q: Why did you choose the wedding venue/location you did?
We chose Seven Hills Inn because we wanted our guests to enjoy a wedding weekend together! With everyone staying at the same venue, we had more time to spend with our guests and family that traveled so far. Robin and Dennis at Seven Hills could not have been any nicer and easier to work with. I would recommend them to anyone!
Q: Can you name the Top 3 things about your relationship that you love the most?
Top 3 things about our relationship: Our relationship is always exciting, there is never a dull moment and we both love to try new adventures. We both support each other in every aspect of life, no matter what happens. We are best friends who love one another and have moved across the country, to a brand new city, to start a life together as husband and wife.
Q: Why’d you choose Tricia to document your wedding day?
We chose Tricia to document our wedding day because she simply is an amazing photographer! When booking Tricia we had never heard a bad review about her photography and we knew on our wedding day we wanted the best photographer! Tricia made the wedding photo sessions fun and entertaining. Most people say their photo sessions drag on, but not with Tricia. Throughout the photo sessions everyone was laughing and everyone enjoyed it!
