During the first weekend of October, the weather was warm, the leaves were turning into brilliant colors and it was exciting to head to Cranwell Resort where it feels like home.  I’ve photographed many weddings at Cranwell and the staff always treats us like family.  

I had met Emily and Tom in the winter of this year and it instantly felt like they were long-time friends. They shared with me their wedding day plans and I was so excited to see it come together. 

When I walked into the bridal suite and saw Emily for the first time, her classic beauty was breathtaking. Her hair, makeup, and all the details made me feel like I was photographing Audrey Hepburn. I was admiring all of the vintage touches that Emily and Tom had incorporated which included their invitation and program, her shoes with the adorable bows and the gold roses in the bouquets. Even Emily’s clutch, cake topper and cake cutter were from her grandparent’s wedding! 

I’m very exciting to share the elegance, warmth and beauty of this day through these wedding photographs. Emily and Tom I wish you so much happiness in all the years ahead.
