Kristie had something special in mind. She wanted photographs of the women in her family – her grandmother, her mom and her 3 year old daughter, Luciana. To capture four generations of women like this was a special honor and I felt the importance and significance as I was taking the picture. When Kristie saw the image of all four of them she said, “it brought tears to my eyes, my hope for Luci is to feel as close to my mom as I did to my own grandmother. I know this picture will be something Luci will have forever”

I had the chance to take additional mother and daughter pictures with Kristie and Luci. I loved our afternooon together! I’ve been photographing them every year since Luci was one. They can’t begin to imagine how much it means to me to capture family memories for them year after year.
