I can’t help but smile while preparing this blogpost. Heather, Michael and I had a blast! We started by having a cocktail together at Tiny Fork on the Lower East Side and chatting with them with the open breeze coming in I think I might have been able to stay there all night. At some point all three of us realized the time and hopped up because we knew we wanted to cover a lot of ground for our engagement session all over Manhattan. We moved fast stopping along the way for pictures wherever any of the 3 of us felt inspiration.
Heather and Mike were up for anything and my God how I love that!! It is reflected in the fun of these pictures. None of us had any fear to stand in the middle of a busy intersections in Little Italy or in front of a cab to capture that perfect view of the Empire State Building in the distance. Our session took us all over the Village and on the 6 to capture a few shots at the beautiful rooftop view of Heather’s apartment. Engagement sessions help all of us to get to know one another before the big day and it gives my couples a little bit of practice in front of the camera too. This session did that and so much more. Heather and Mike, after this session, I can’t wait to see you again in a few weeks here in the Berkshires for your wedding at Chesterwood. This session was just the icing on the cake! Much love to you and I hope you enjoy these pictures of our adventure for a long time to come! XO Tricia (but Mike can call me “Trish”)
