Joud and Anson’s wedding at Orleton Farm was a beautiful blend of tradition, romance and rich history. Orleton Farm in Stockbridge MA is set on property with incredible mountain views. Mary and Harvey, Anson’s parents, have poured their heart and soul into maintaining the farm’s legacy and their deep rooted love of horses. The farm’s charm perfectly complemented the elegance of the entire day’s events. Joud and Anson started the day getting ready on their families’ sprawling estate with those closest to them. I photographed Joud as she put on the finishing touches before getting dressed and looking absolutely stunning in her lace gown while Lisa captured Anson and his groomsmen in the billard room. The bride and groom honored family tradition by riding to the church in a horse-drawn carriage, a nod to the generations before them who had done the same. St. Paul’s Church on Main Street in Stockbridge is so quaint – a setting that seems as though it’s made for a storybook wedding like this. Their reception was a joyous celebration of love and family and friends and we were so glad to be there.
Congratulations to Joud and Anson! We loved being there to capture your day.
