I loved being a part of Kimber and Will’s day.  Their warmth and kindness was evident months ago during our first conversation by phone.  For me, one of my favorite things to uncover is why my couples choose to have their wedding in the Berkshires.  In Kimber and Will’s case it seems kismet that even though they met in Boston they both have childhood ties to this area. Kimber feels sentimental about Stockbridge where she spent summers as a kid and during those same years, Will was traveling to Tanglewood while his sister practiced with the Boston Symphony Orchestra.  During her speech, Will’s sister mentioned how those memorable visits as a family provided a very strong presence of their late mother here in the Berkshires. Will’s mother’s paintings decorated the inside of the tent which was set up in the forecourt of The Mount.  What an incredible and unique way to honor her during their wedding day.

Both Kimber and Will are avid runners, completing marathons and even the Berkshire home town race the Josh Billings. It was endearing all day to see how they complimented each other’s personalities, Will is her calm place and Kimber brings the high energy everywhere she goes. Their connection to each other, their friends and family was beautiful to witness. I was so moved the entire day and very grateful you asked me and Lisa to be there to capture every part of it.
