Lauren and Nick’s celebration at Tourists in North Adams was as colorful and heartfelt as the two of them.

The day began with both of them getting ready on-site, surrounded by their closest friends and family. Thoughtful details filled every corner, from fall-toned décor in red, orange, yellow, hot pink and autumn inspired dinner courses. The Berkshires provided the perfect backdrop, and the weather was so warm and sunny that it made everything feel even more vibrant.

Their ceremony was deeply meaningful and surrounded by 100 guests, Lauren and Nick exchanged vows that reflected not only their love for each other but also the deep connections with their families and friends. Nick’s words especially got me when he talked about Lauren surprising him at his college dorm when he was having a difficult time with one of his classes with dinner and dessert in hand. Lauren retold the story of when in high school, Nick asked her out through Skype and how they’ve been together all the days since.

When it came time for their first dance, they surprised everyone with a custom DJ mix of Cascada’s Every Time We Touch. Starting with the slow version, the moment felt intimate and sweet before bursting into the dance mix that had everyone surrounding them on the floor. It perfectly captured who they are: sweet, a little silly, and completely themselves.

Dinner and speeches gave way to a reception filled with laughter and nonstop dancing thanks to Gabby of DJBFG. Later, they hosted a prom-themed after-party, leaning into over-the-top nostalgia and ending the night just as vibrant and fun as it began.

Lauren and Nick described their day as personal, loving, electric, exciting, and fun, and it truly was. From the thoughtful details to the carefree dance floor, every moment reflected who they are and the love they share with those around them. Lisa and I are so happy for you, congratulations again!!
