MASS MoCA, nestled in the quaint town of North Adams, Massachusetts, is a remarkable venue that seamlessly blends art and romance. Each time we have the honor of photographing there I discover something new I love. Lucy and Connor’s day was no exception.

Their day began at the cozy Porches Inn, where guests were mingling the property, swimming, and enjoying watching the wedding day hustle from the second story porches. This stylish inn down the street from MASS MoCA was the perfect place for Lucy and Connor (and their dog Freddy) to see each other for the first time. Dressed in a delicate floral collar, Freddy joined them for their first look.

After shuttling over to MASS MoCA, there were cocktails waiting and a surprise entrance of the flower girl and ring bearer to the tune of “Seven Nation Army.” Lucy and Connor shared their vows privately in the Sol Lewitt gallery and then again under twinkling lights of the Cosmic Latte. After saying “I do”, guests were treated to specialty cocktails from Mezze and a raw bar sourced from Cape Cod which celebrated the couple’s love of culinary excellence.

Underneath a shimmering disco ball, friends and family gathered to celebrate the couple’s journey into marriage. Hailing from Washington, D.C., the couple shared a special connection with the band With Ford Bronco, a 90s cover band. Having the band perform at their wedding was a dream come true.

Their cake was astounding! Mamie Brougitte designed a cake fit for an art museum! Complete with pearls, edible flowers, and a miniature sugar dog that looked exactly like Freddy. It was so much watching guests dance, eat cake and hop in Berkshire Photo Booth for some late night pictures.

Thank you for letting us be part of such a beautiful day!

P.s Don’t miss their incredible NYC engagement session here.
