Lyndsey and Michael’s Gedney Farm wedding in New Marlborough was adorable. Lyndsey told her bridesmaids to choose whatever style, color, and length dress they wanted. Paired with bouquets of greenery, they looked amazing and so fun. I hope this is a trend I continue to see!

Michael and Lyndsey met in 2014 at a party. Lyndsey was in law school and Michael lived with one of Lyndsey’s friends from law school. Lyndsey and Michael continued to hang out with their group of friends and at some point there was no denying that Lyndsey just couldn’t live without Mike’s enthusiasm in her life.

Now imagine having spent so much time and energy planning for a wedding in April of 2020. Just as Lyndsey and Michael were about to have the day they dreamed of, COVID shutdowns happened and their wedding had to be postponed. So they got creative and nontraditional! The couple decided to celebrate on a Thursday in August of 2021.

With a new date planned but still so far away, they also knew they couldn’t wait that long to be officially married. So in June of 2020 they had a ceremony with a minister and invited their guests by zoom. Now married and eager to start a family, they made the most of being quarantined and decided to start a family.

This was a celebration of true love and good things to come. It was a day so worth waiting for and I couldn’t have been happier to be there.
