This past weekend, Maddy and Tanner celebrated their wedding at the picturesque Stonover Farm with jaw dropping florals, the best group of people and of course their beloved golden retriever, Paddy.
It’s no surprise that Paddy was part of the day, he’s the reason these two first connected. What began as a Snapchat exchange of puppy photos grew into a love story, and years later Tanner proposed with Paddy wearing a “Will You Marry My Dad?” bandana.
The celebration reflected Maddy and Tanner’s fun and joyful spirit in every detail. Guests were welcomed with whimsical “party animal” escort cards, gold figurines holding place cards that signaled the fun to come. Everyone loved them and I saw people carrying them around during cocktail hour. The dance floor was alive from start to finish, with buckets of beer, High Noons, and the photo booth keeping energy high all the way to their “Love Story” last dance.
When asked to describe their day, Maddy shared that it was “perfection” and that she “would not have changed a single thing.” She described the experience as beautiful, joyful, and fun. words that truly matched the atmosphere we captured. Her advice for couples planning their own wedding? Surround yourself with a talented team and trust them, “they know best!” We love this advice and couldn’t agree more. The seamless flow of this day was a testament to the extraordinary vendors who made it happen. Every detail, from the stunning florals to the flawless coordination, was executed with such artistry and care, and it was a privilege to work alongside this team.
Maddy also shared about her photography experience: “Tricia has an excellent sense of humor! She kept things light, got the shots we wanted, and made sure we never felt rushed. It was important for us to be present, and she made that happen.” For us, that balance, capturing timeless images while allowing couples to be fully in the moment, is at the heart of what Lisa and I do.
Congratulations, Maddy and Tanner, on a day that was every bit as beautiful as your story. What an extraordinary beginning to your next chapter together.
