Photographing events at MASS MoCA is always something I look forward to. The energy, the creativity, the setting itself, it’s all incredibly inspiring. But this year’s Benefit Dinner and Celebration felt even more meaningful. It marked 25 years of MASS MoCA, and being there to capture such an important milestone was truly an honor.
From the moment guests arrived, the evening felt unique. Set against the museum’s iconic architecture, the dinner brought together artists, supporters, and friends of MASS MoCA to celebrate its impact on the arts, not just in the Berkshires, but far beyond. Speeches were heartfelt, the space was beautifully designed, and there was this undeniable sense of pride in how the museum supports the arts.
As the night moved into celebration mode, the energy grew. There was dancing, laughter, and some unforgettable moments that unfolded under the lights. Every detail of the event reflected what MASS MoCA does best: create space for connection, creativity, and community.
Photographing this event was not only an opportunity to document the beauty and excitement of the night. It was also a reminder of how lucky we are to have this world-class institution right here in the Berkshires.
Happy 25th, MASS MoCA. Thank you for including me in such a memorable evening.

Tricia
