Natalie and Josh contacted me after they got married in a small ceremony in a courthouse in NYC. They were spending their honeymoon in the Berkshires and wanted to get pictures taken to celebrate their new marriage.
After talking, we decided to hold the shoot at The Kemble Inn, where they were staying. The inn, located in Lenox, MA, is so classy and gorgeous, just like Natalie and Josh. It was the perfect location for a session with this couple.
Natalie is a makeup artist in New York and has beautiful style. She chose two outfits to wear to be photographed. The first was a vintage wedding dress with the antique veil worn by her grandmother. The second was a couture red skirt that Josh had bought her in a vintage boutique after she had been adoring it for weeks.
The session was fun, sexy, creative and stylish and it validated exactly why I love being a photographer. Most of all, I felt connected to Josh and Natalie during this blissful moment in their life and felt so excited that I was taking images that they could look back on lovingly for years.
I saw them the following evening and they said they were on such a high after their session – they shared the same excitement I was feeling! I laughed when they told me this, as they hadn’t even seen any images yet! Since then and having seen all their photographs, they have mentioned they are thrilled with the images and the experience.
Thank you Natalie and Josh for honeymooning in the Berkshires and seeing the beauty I see as a resident of this beautiful place. Thank you for allowing me to capture your love and creative spirits. Let’s get together next time you are in the area and toast with another glass of champagne!
