Imagine the sheer joy you experience finally being able to have a whole, real wedding after months of COVID changing your plans and causing so much uncertainty? Oset and Michael were finally able to do just that at Bloom Meadows with their friends and family. There was hugging, dancing, and being together (not on Zoom). Oset and Michael did not originally plan to have a fall wedding, but the amazing weather and beautiful fall foliage was certainly a silver lining after the postponement.
When I first met Oset and Michael in New York City for their engagement shoot, Oset shared with me about her and Michael’s love of food. Oset is the Associate Culture Editor for Food and Wine Magazine. Their reception was so unique, and they turned the space at Bloom Meadows into their own with the help of their amazing vendors. The ceilings were draped with billowing fabric and the tables were set with floral garlands. It was no surprise that their dinner was full of little details like a carefully curated wine list, custom hot honeys from one of their favorite small makers, and the incredible pastry work from Meg Thompson. They enjoyed their first meal as husband and wife in front of their initials hanging on a gorgeous boxwood wall. Oset and Michael strived to make their wedding feel like the best dinner party anyone’s been to. And it was!
So after months of phone calls, changing plans, and unknowns I am so happy that you both got the perfect day and dinner party you deserved! Thank you for letting me capture your day!
