4 girls in life and motherhood

As a photographer, I’ve captured countless families, but I’m also a mom of a rising senior and a college student. And if there’s one thing I know for sure, this time moves faster than we ever expect. Just this past weekend, after prom, I was standing with a group of parents, all of us asking the same question: “How did they grow up so fast?”

I know I’m not alone in feeling this. One minute, they’re learning to tie their shoes, and the next, they’re off to prom, applying to colleges, and making plans for the future. But one thing I’ve never regretted is making family photos a yearly tradition.

I had a little advantage as a photographer, I learned from my clients. Time and again, I’d see them years later and they’d express how glad they were for the family portraits they’d taken. I took that to heart. Even when my boys grew and the grumbles about “another photo session” got louder, I stood my ground. Soon enough, it just became something they expected—a tradition that I will always treasure.

And now, I want to help you do the same.

If you’re a parent of a high school senior, this is the perfect time to combine their senior portraits with a family session. Because the truth is, your family will never look quite like this again. This is a year of big transitions, and it deserves to be captured.

During your session, we’ll photograph your senior in all their excitement for the future, but we’ll also capture the love of your whole family together. I’ll get photos of siblings, family combinations, and even a headshot for mom or dad (because you deserve a great portrait too).

The best time for these sessions is August and September—when you’re still glowing from summer and before the full whirlwind of senior year begins. But my schedule fills quickly, so it’s essential to book now.

Here’s the link to schedule your session: https://triciamccormack.com/family-services

I care so much about capturing these moments for families, and I may even shed a few tears with you, because I REALLY get it. Let’s make this memory together.
