What better way to celebrate your anniversary than by returning to where it all began? Abigail and her husband chose to mark the day with a family photo session at the same Berkshire property where they were married, this time with their one-year-old son, adding a new chapter to a place that’s been part of their story since day one.
What began as a real estate session turned into something even more meaningful when Abigail added a family shoot.
Like many parents, Abigail was worried about how it might go. “Our morning started off a little rough,” she shared. “Our son was teething and had a nasty cold. But Lisa was incredible—she worked her magic and somehow got him to join in and smile. We couldn’t believe how beautiful the pictures turned out.”
One of their favorite moments from the session happened near the end. Sitting together on a stone wall, looking out at the meadow and The Berkshire mountains, the family shared a quiet moment that reflected so much more than just a pose for the camera. “I’ll always want to remember that no matter how chaotic life gets, the three of us bring each other comfort, happiness, and a sense of peace.”
We hear this time and time again, parents worry their children won’t be in the mood or the session won’t go as planned. But the reality is often the opposite. With experience, patience, and a love for what we do, our team knows how to meet families where they are and make the most of every moment. The resulting photos are candid, emotional, and lasting.
Whether you’re returning to a meaningful place or simply want to capture a season of life before it changes again, a family session is the perfect way to freeze time, even if just for a little while.
Thank you, Abigail, for trusting us to capture this meaningful moment in your family’s story. We hope to have the honor of photographing you all again in the years to come.
♥ Lisa
