Crowdfunding the Cottages

Berkshire Magazine recently overviewed the business model at Shared Estates:

“For a small buy in, you get big bragging rights – a piece of Berkshire Cottage; a piece of history. Shares Estates’ mission is to preserve the world’d finest historic estates by creating modern, luxurious, and sustainable properties for rental in the sharing economy. It’s an opportunity for anybody over the age of 18 to participate in ownership. By repurposing each of the properties and making them models of sustainable travel with carbon-neutral operations and no single use amenities, the Fund also has a sustainability element to it.”
