I’m so excited to share with you Lauren & Alex’s day. You may recognize them from the blog post where I shared a bit about their love story and images from our engagement session in Charlestown, MA. Their wedding day over Labor day weekend brimmed with romance and the tight connection that they share with their family and friends.

The sentimental details they chose to honor people really stood out to me. For example Lauren carried a prayer book that belonged to her great grandmother and was carried by her grandmother on her wedding day. Lauren also honored the groom’s family by wearing a set of pearls from Alex’s grandmother.

The candlelit reception included a flawless first dance and toasts that included a poem exquisitely written and recited about the couple by Lauren’s dad. So good, in fact that he received a standing ovation for their guests.
