I believe love is in the details! This wedding had so many carefully thought out components that a photographer like me loves to capture on a wedding day. The multicolor bridesmaid dresses, the gorgeous flower arrangements from Carolyn Valenti, the hand crafted bamboo favors, the picture guest book, the very special dances, the decadent mini cupcakes….so many sweet details, there are too many to mention! I loved being with Laura and Matt on this important day to capture it all. It goes without saying that my favorite detail of all of them, was the launching of the paper lanterns by all guests at the end of the night. Laura and Matt asked every guest to gather outside as the sun went down and watch them light a paper lantern and then release it. Each of the guests had their own as well.  I have yet to see that at a wedding and it was truly magical. All you could hear were oohs and aahs as we watched them light up the sky.  What an amazing ending. Congratulations Laura and Matt on a legendary event – I wish so much happiness for the two of you and your beautiful family! xo
