In honor of Father’s Day, I wanted to take a moment to recognize fathers. Fathers have such a special place in all of our hearts: not only our own fathers but also the fathers of our children. They point us in the right direction, teach us right from wrong, but still let us make our own mistakes to help us to grow. Both strong and loving, there is nothing better than a father’s hug when you have fallen down (no matter how old you are). They pick us up when we are down and encourage us to keep going. Our first coaches, our first teachers, our best cheerleaders—there are few things that compare to the love of a father.
In celebration of fathers everywhere, I’m hosting a Father’s Day Photo Contest that will be held on Tricia McCormack Photography Facebook page. So submit your favorite picture of you and your dad, or your favorite picture of your children and their father to my email address: tricia@triciamccormack.com. I will add them to a specific Facebook gallery for voting. These images will stay on my FB page as they come in until June 12. Whoever receives the most “likes” by June 12 will win a Tricia McCormack Photography family portrait session to give Dad on Father’s Day! The winning dad will be announced the morning of June 13! The session will have a special feature here on my blog.
The winning session must be redeemed in Southern Berkshire County. So share those expressive photos of your dad and help us celebrate Father’s Day! Remember to encourage your friends and loved ones to like and to share the image!
I’ve started you off with some of my favorite “dad” moments from wedding sessions and portrait sessions and included the first two which I took of my husband and our boys and then one of my dad and youngest son on a recent canoe ride.
