Rebecca and Marianna’s Mass MoCA wedding was fantastic. The girls opted out of a first look and instead got ready together. Enjoying time together at Tourists Hotel before helping each other get into their gowns was really something special! The genuine kindness and support they showed each other the whole morning leading up to the ceremony was also special. They continually checked in on each other to make sure the other was okay. I love that about them and this is something I also noticed during their engagement session when we all first met.
Rebecca and Marianna started building a shared life at the beginning of the pandemic, when they unofficially moved in together. They marked the passage of time through new rituals: completing the New York Times crossword together every morning (their longest streak was 229 days in a row), enjoying Shabbos in Sharon with Rebecca’s family, visiting Marianna’s family in California, walking in the arboretum, and snuggling with the dogs (first Tikvah, now Matilda).
Now that their wedding day was finally here, I couldn’t wait to see how they would transform the space at Mass MoCA. It truly is one of the most unique venues in the Berkshires, Rebecca and Marianna’s guests enjoyed their dinner at long tables underneath lights from an exhibit, their band was incredible, and the endless galleries full of unique artwork made for some pretty stunning couple portraits. Those that love them most, delivered the most fantastic speeches and it made me smile to learn more about them!
