Emilie and Bear’s wedding was absolutely gorgeous and I was so honored to have their full trust to capture this day. Emilie and Bear were originally thinking of getting married in 2024, but fate decided otherwise. A Saturday date in June at Tanglewood became available and they thought, “Why wait, let’s do this now!?” With the help of friends and family they planned the whole wedding in 6 months (with an amazing team of vendors). Emilie and Bear grew up in the Berkshires in neighboring towns and having all their favorite people gather at Tanglewood felt so fitting.

Bear and I go back to the days of elementary school. We graduated high school together in 2008 and it was at a local bridal expo that we reconnected. After meeting Emilie, I knew exactly how great this day was going to be and when I knew I was available, I was so happy. At Emilie and Bear’s engagement session I could just feel how much they loved each other, this made me even more excited for the wedding. It’s not often that couples are lucky enough to get a beautiful sunset for their engagement photos AND wedding but Bear and Emilie got both.

We find such joy in the details and this day didn’t disappoint. Emilie’s hair clip was made from her mom’s veil and her grandmother’s dress. During their ceremony they each presented their moms with flowers before reading aloud written vows to each other. Their wedding party consisted of their siblings and the cutest flower girl (their niece). The sliding doors of the Linde Center were fully open giving everyone an incredible view of the mountains and sunset during toasts. A packed photo booth and an incredible fiber optic dance party was a great end to an unforgettable day.

Emilie is truly as sweet as her smile suggests and Bear is kind and considerate just as I remembered him all those years ago. Congratulations and thank you for trusting me to capture your “best day ever”.

xoxo
Lisa
