Fourteen years ago this week, I photographed Lily’s sister Jenna’s wedding. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of photographing all three sisters in this family on their wedding days. That’s the kind of history that makes this work mean so much to me.

And now, Lily and Conor.

They’re warm, funny, easy together and completely themselves. Their wedding at Chesterwood felt the same way.

September was showing off at Chesterwood that day. The hydrangeas were incredible, the flowers were full of color, and Lily and Conor brought together a group of people who were very ready to celebrate them. After the ceremony, everyone moved under the tent for dinner, speeches and a very full dance floor.

One of my favorite parts of the day came later, when Lisa and I slipped away with them for a few minutes and caught the last of the September light in the field. Just Lily and Conor together before heading back to everyone they love.

Lily and Conor, I loved photographing this day. And to the whole family, thank you for trusting me with three weddings and fourteen years of memories. It means more than I can say.
