On Saturday October 8, we joined Anna and Scott to capture their wedding day. These two have been together since 9th grade and the whole day felt like one big family celebration. It had the best and most beautiful energy.

One of the most remarkable things for me personally about working with Anna and Scott was the feeling of kindness and trust they had for us immediately. It made everything easier and gave us more room for creativity throughout the day. Knowing that other couples are looking to these blogs for wedding inspiration, I thought I would share a few things that they told me the day after their wedding.

Q: What was one moment that surprised you from the wedding day?

A: The absolute beauty of both our ceremony and reception spaces at Tanglewood. We have been coming out to the Berkshires since we were kids and we had never seen it look as stunning as it did on our wedding day.

Q: Do you have any tips or advice for future couples planning a wedding now that you’ve had the experience?

A: Our biggest advice is to research potential vendors and choose them early! We did lots of planning in advance and I think it made the time leading up to our wedding a lot less stressful. In general, our attitude was “hope for the best, plan for the worst”. Even if details don’t end up exactly how you imagine they will, if you have a good team surrounding you your day will be wonderful. As soon as we decided we wanted to get married in the Berkshires, we knew we wanted to have Tricia photograph our wedding. Not only are Tricia and Lisa skilled professionals, they are also enthusiastic, fun, and great people to have by your side on your big day. All of our friends and family complimented us on our photographers!
