For me, one of my favorite things to uncover is why my couples choose to have their wedding in the Berkshires. In Kimber and Will’s case it seems kismet that even though they met in Boston they both have childhood ties to this area. Kimber feels sentimental about Stockbridge where she spent summers as a kid and during those same years, Will was traveling to Tanglewood while his sister practiced with the Boston Symphony Orchestra.
Greer and Jared’s wedding at Cottage Farm of the Berkshires was the very first wedding to happen at this brand new Berkshire venue. This space was once a working horse farm and was recently renovated to be an all inclusive wedding weekend spot.
Marianna and Rebecca opted out of a first look and instead got ready together. Enjoying time together at Tourists Hotel before helping each other get into their gowns was really something special! The genuine kindness and support they showed each other the whole morning leading up to the ceremony was also special. They continually checked in on each other to make sure the other was okay. I love that about them
Sheila and Carlton’s wedding could not have been any cuter. These two sweethearts decided to tie the knot at age 80… what a love story! Their families, friends from church, and even Carlton’s Bridge buddies gathered for a small ceremony to witness the marriage.
If you have a location in mind for our portrait session, I’d love to hear it! We also enjoy photographing families at their own homes.

Megan and Andrew’s love of the outdoors was beautifully matched with the greenery that decorated the indoor ceremony space and the summer BBQ vibe of the cocktail hour and reception. It was such a special moment watching them enjoy their first look.
There was a point during family portraits, when Ashley’s mom said, “This looks exactly like the inspiration photo she sent me years ago.” Marrying Dylan, her bridesmaids in red, the cow pasture in the distance, rolling mountains, and a bouquet of sunflowers and roses.
Lauren and Ryan were so much fun to photograph. Their wedding at The Williams Inn was summery chic with earthy tones that reflected the beautiful surroundings of Williamstown.
Katherine and Ben’s wedding at Chesterwood felt like an elegant dinner party of close family and friends. Guests ranging from age 1 to 88 were able to enjoy the gorgeous property while taking in the beautiful Berkshire mountains surrounding them.
Anna and Liam’s connection feels like a perfect match. It all began with a first date in Boston, at a favorite restaurant where they stayed out until 4:00 am because they were having so much fun. Anna and Liam have been together ever since.
10 years ago, I met Lisa for the first time over a cup of coffee. Our meeting was a follow up to her inquiry to see if I’d consider her as a second shooter. Lisa as a recent college graduate, seemed uncertain of what she wanted and was a bit shy as we chatted but as she began working for me, I quickly experienced the characteristics that make her so wonderful.
Anne grew up in the Berkshires and returns home with Andrew to enjoy summers here. While their wedding was originally planned for an earlier date, they didn’t let COVID restrictions get in the way of delaying their love. As they waited patiently to gather with all their family and friends here in the Berkshires, their life was moving rapidly in California. They welcomed a baby boy who was the most adorable addition to this celebration.
Imagine a tent full of families, who have been waiting to spend time with each other, finally having the opportunity to celebrate! The energy was high and everyone was elated. Thanks to Lauren and Mike’s band, The Band Method, not a single person stayed in their seat during the reception and the dinner tables became a stage for them to entertain on. It was incredible.
They both proposed to each other on the very same day! Eliza and Maggie’s non-competitive, equitable approach to proposing was simple: no plan (re: who would propose first), but on a trip to Asheville with friends, less than 24 hours before Eliza planned to pop the same question, Maggie beat her to the punch and dropped down on one knee on a breathtaking sunset hike on the Blue Ridge Parkway – the same mountain range where their first picture together had been taken, over 3 years prior. Later that night, Eliza proposed back on a hill under the stars, just two girls and their headlamps and a lot of happy tears.
Emily and Andrej were dodging thunderstorms all day at their tented Chesterwood wedding, but not one bit of rain could put a damper on this celebration. In one evening they experienced a week’s worth of weather; rain, clouds, sunshine, fog, and even a rainbow. From start to finish I have enjoyed working with Emily and Andrej. They are fun, easy going, and best of all so in love. All day I just kept saying, “wow” to myself after I’d snap another amazing image of these two prancing around in the rain or holding each other under a rainbow.
Beth and Zak met on a study abroad trip to Italy, but it was actually Beth’s twin sister, Kathy, who first met Zak. Zak and Kathy attended the same college and it wasn’t until a couple years later (in Italy) that Beth and Zak would connect. Beth and Zak, both teachers live in Eastern MA and they spend their time playing board games, hiking, or reading fantasy.
