TRICIA MCCORMACK PHOTOGRAPHY
Imagine a tent full of families, who have been waiting to spend time with each other, finally having the opportunity to celebrate! The energy was high and everyone was elated. Thanks to Lauren and Mike’s band, The Band Method, not a single person stayed in their seat during the reception and the dinner tables became a stage for them to entertain on. It was incredible.
They both proposed to each other on the very same day! Eliza and Maggie’s non-competitive, equitable approach to proposing was simple: no plan (re: who would propose first), but on a trip to Asheville with friends, less than 24 hours before Eliza planned to pop the same question, Maggie beat her to the punch and dropped down on one knee on a breathtaking sunset hike on the Blue Ridge Parkway – the same mountain range where their first picture together had been taken, over 3 years prior. Later that night, Eliza proposed back on a hill under the stars, just two girls and their headlamps and a lot of happy tears.
Emily and Andrej were dodging thunderstorms all day at their tented Chesterwood wedding, but not one bit of rain could put a damper on this celebration. In one evening they experienced a week’s worth of weather; rain, clouds, sunshine, fog, and even a rainbow. From start to finish I have enjoyed working with Emily and Andrej. They are fun, easy going, and best of all so in love. All day I just kept saying, “wow” to myself after I’d snap another amazing image of these two prancing around in the rain or holding each other under a rainbow.
Beth and Zak met on a study abroad trip to Italy, but it was actually Beth’s twin sister, Kathy, who first met Zak. Zak and Kathy attended the same college and it wasn’t until a couple years later (in Italy) that Beth and Zak would connect. Beth and Zak, both teachers live in Eastern MA and they spend their time playing board games, hiking, or reading fantasy.
The Night I Was a Photographer and an Uber Driver… Greg contacted me and told me his plans to propose to Lauren at Blantyre Resort and asked if I could capture it. Absolutely! Being a proposal photographer becomes more than just showing up that day – for this photographer anyway. I helped Greg with dinner […]
How will I get my kids to cooperate during a family session? What colors photograph best? How can I prepare for a professional head shot? I am so overwhelmed by writing a speech! What time should the bride get her hair done? Here at Tricia McCormack Photography we get asked these types of questions ALL. […]
I asked Kalei to share her experience with having maternity photos taken, here is what she shared with me: “These photos turned out better than I could have imagined. They are the most beautiful pictures I have of myself and I am reminded every time I look at them how incredibly powerful my body was […]

What an honor to take my Associate Lisa’s engagement shoot last year as they anticipated their June 2022 wedding. I have to admit I was a little nervous taking their photos because Lisa is an expert at reading my body language and facial expressions after working together for 10 years. I joked with her, if […]
The Space Couples are always searching for unique wedding venues in the Berkshires. Mass MoCA, located in North Adams, Massachusetts is a reconstructed factory turned art museum. This popular art destination has the capability to host small micro weddings of 25 to large gatherings of up to 400. It has non-traditional ceremony and reception […]
When I first met Oset and Michael in New York City for their engagement shoot, Oset shared with me about her and Michael’s love of food. Oset is the Associate Culture Editor for Food and Wine Magazine. Their reception was so unique, and they turned the space at Bloom Meadows into their own with the help of their amazing vendors. The ceilings were draped with billowing fabric and the tables were set with floral garlands. It was no surprise that their dinner was full of little details like a carefully curated wine list, custom hot honeys from one of their favorite small makers, and the incredible pastry work from Meg Thompson.
Corinne and Justin’s day was classically beautiful and their attention to detail was gorgeous. They thought of it all! A beaded purse passed down from generation to generation, a bible with lace from Corinne’s grandmother’s wedding dress, satin shoes for the groom, and a working vintage typewriter as the guestbook.
I loved seeing John’s face lit up when he turned and first saw Aly. As we ventured out onto the grounds at Gedney, I couldn’t help but notice the way Aly looked at John. All the stress and nervous feelings that happen on the morning of your wedding seemed to disappear when she was alone with John. How special is that?
Jenna and Peter’s intimate wedding at 33 Main was exactly what they envisioned; a getaway. These two New York natives were friends for many years before becoming a couple. When Jenna and Peter visited the Berkshires a while back, they just knew it was a place they wanted to come back to. So it was […]
On the drive to the Mount, I couldn’t help but think about how perfect the day ahead was going to be. And it was! It was so easy and fun capturing Merideth and Travis in the amazing gardens at The Mount. One of Merideth’s favorite spots on the grounds was the forecourt. She looked absolutely stunning enjoying her specialty cocktail with her new husband after the ceremony. Not only were they able to enjoy their cocktail hour on the terrace, but a New Orleans style jazz band escorted them up the driveway for a tradition wedding second line.
Hannah and Graham love each other so much they decided to get married twice! I was so lucky to capture their intimate backyard wedding back in 2020. Lisa, my associate was able to capture and enjoy more time with Hannah, Graham, and this time, a much larger group of family and friends. Next year we […]
