Jacqui and Steve eloped on August 22nd at the Cranwell Resort, and I was so thrilled and honored to be able to witness this special day for them.
These two had one of the most romantic love stories I’ve ever heard! They were high school sweethearts in 1981, and even though they broke up before graduation, Jacqui wrote a note in his yearbook and asked Steve to “please keep in touch”. Steve never forgot that promise and looked for her 30 years later, finally finding her online. They met up again fell back in love.
They eloped in the most beautiful outdoor ceremony, complete with gorgeous mountains as their background. They looked into each other’s eyes and exchanged personal vows. I remember Jacqui saying that even though 30 years had passed their senses of humor and hearts remained the same. Their friends Kelly and Ryan were there to share in their celebration.
Jacqui & Steve, thank you again for allowing me to be part of this exciting time for you both! I had so much fun—your love and laughter is infectious! You were destined for each other – congratulations!
