Being the intern for Tricia McCormack Photography this summer has been nothing short of incredible! One of the biggest things I learned this summer is that these women don’t just take pictures, they create an experience for every client. Running Tricia McCormack Photography, Berkshire Photo Booth, and TK-Fit isn’t just about showing up the day of,  the real work is what goes on behind the scenes every day in the office. 

Although I did have fun working as an attendant of the photo booth, creating content for instagram, and editing reels, my favorite part of this internship has been working alongside the amazing women who make TMP what it is. All four of them uplift each other, bounce ideas off one another, and are always striving to do their best work. They care about their clients just as much as they care about one another and I think THAT is what makes TMP special.  

I am so grateful to have had this experience, especially going into my sophomore year of college. Some students have internships and end up hating their job by the time summer is over, for me, I had the opposite experience. Creating content for social media, capturing moments at events, and collaborating with Kalei and Tricia (my marketing mentors) has made me very excited to go back to school and share my experiences with my teachers and friends. 

Overall, I have learned so much about running a small business, creating content for social media, and that a small team can have big success. I’m sad that I only have two weeks left in the office, but I am also excited to go back to Isenberg and learn more about the world of marketing and the events industry!
